Lapka & Sons is actively searching for a full-time Marketing and Content Creator to lead and manage our marketing and social media division. We are looking for an experienced individual with a background in Real Estate and Lifestyle that has a passion for architecture, outdoor activities and creating visual masterpieces.

The ideal candidate will lead the development, planning and execution of digital media with an emphasis on photo and video for Lapka & Sons. The primary focus of this role is to work with members of the Administrative teams to define, plan and execute production of media for promotional use.

Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing and Content Creator specializing in Real Estate and Lifestyle.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling

  • Have experience managing successful social media accounts for brands and/or individuals

  • Possess the ability to produce high-quality visuals that engage, inspire and grow our audience

  • Passionate for recreational activities, such as, skiing, hiking, biking & surfing

  • Ability to travel on short notice (US passport is required)

    • Collaborate with the Lapka and Sons team to develop creative concepts and strategies for real estate and lifestyle content

    • Capture stunning video footage and captivating photographs of properties, interiors, woodworking and lifestyle scenes

    • Edit and enhance video and photo content to ensure high quality and consistency across all platforms

    • Produce engaging video tours, property showcases, and lifestyle features that highlight the unique selling points of each property

    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in real estate marketing and content creation

    • Manage equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and editing software, to ensure optimal performance and quality

    • Manage social media accounts and plan the scheduling of posts (images, reels, clips, etc.)

    • Proven experience as a video/photographer, preferably in the real estate or lifestyle industry

    • Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in both videography and photography, with a focus on real estate and lifestyle content preferred

    • Proficiency in video and photo editing software

    • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for composition, lighting, and aesthetics.

    • Ability to travel (passport required) & working independently

    • Ability to leave the state/country on short notice

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate creative ideas and concepts

    • Collaborate in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously

    • 5+ years of experience in related field is required

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in photography, videography, marketing, or a related field

    • Experience with drone photography/videography and 3D imaging technology

    • Knowledge of social media platforms and trends, with experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, etc

    • Familiarity with real estate industry terminology, trends, and market dynamics

    • Interested in outdoor activities, such as, skiing, hiking, biking and surfing - due to the type of content being shot during trips
