Two generations. One standard.

John G. Lapka started as a carpenter's apprentice in 1969, founded Lapka Construction in 1972 and Lake Mountain Log Homes in 1973, and built and maintained log and timber homes for forty-five years. His son Brian founded Lapka & Sons in Bozeman in 2018 and runs it today, from the first sketch to the last walkthrough.

We give our word and a handshake, and we keep both.

The team

Brian Lapka — Owner. Design, drafting, estimating, and your point of contact on every project.

Ryan Vine — Project Manager. Runs the jobsite day to day: crews, subs, schedule and inspections.

We donate annually to Big Sky Bravery, which supports active-duty Special Operations Forces.
